        | HEMMED SIDES |
      	|

Hemming is a fabrication option used to keep the outside edges of the sheet from being sharp. The hems will give the edges a finished appearance. The hems will add a degree of rigidity to the sheet.Hemming can be done on sheets up to 22 gauge stainless steel.Hemmed sheets can still have sharp corners, which can be prevented with the round corner option. When you enter the size dimensions of the piece, that will be the "finished" size. We will compensate the extra material for the hem.Hemmed edges are not sharp, they can be touched with the bare hand with very little to no risk of being cut.
